Walt Disney World PhotoPass Pictures : Disney, being the ever resourceful company that it is, now has wandering photographers who will take your picture at various places throughout the parks. You are then able to purchase a CD with all the pictures, add borders, crop images, etc. so you can have a special keepsake of your vacation. May 2008 Walt Disney World Vacation : We took our first real family vacation to Walt Disney World, May 3-11, 2008. While Eric spent a good bit of time at WDW as a child and Kori had gone three times before, this was the first trip for Rachel and Skyler. We spent about eight months planning the vacation -- most reservations had to be made six months before we arrived. Kori spent hours researching really special and unique activities to make this a dream vacation for our family. Our basic itinerary: DAY ONE: Flew out of Kansas City to Orlando, where we stayed at a condo in the Windsor Hills complex. DAY TWO: We started our trip by exploring the Magic Kingdom. DAY THREE: Our “Princess Day.” DAY FOUR: Special tour at the Magic Kingdom in the morning then hopped over to Animal Kingdom. DAY FIVE: Disney Hollywood Studios Park DAY SIX: Epcot -- we could have spent multiple days here as we only got as far as Future World. DAY SEVEN: Swimming at our condo, family photo shoot, supper with Cinderella, then to Disney's Pirate & Princess Party. DAY EIGHT: Skyler's 1st birthday! We celebrated at a party with Pooh & friends, a special fireworks cruise and the Spectromagic parade. DAY NINE: Homeward bound! In addition to the photos here (taken by Kori & Eric) we also had lots of pictures taken by Disney's PhotoPass photographers.
